Grander Weight Angler Location Date Blue Marlin 1226 Dean Lemman Kona, Hawaii 05/26/15 Capt. Chip Van Mols hooked angler Dean Lemman to his fish of a lifetime by trolling an Erik Rusnak "Smash bait" off the famous Kona Coast. Dean fought the fish by using a Shimano two-speed reel spooled with 130-lb test line. Crewman Shawn Bebeau handled the deck and gaffing chores at the climax of the two-hour, 20-minute battle. This is Capt. Van Mols' fourth grander. Dean's fishing team, Team Dinero, is made up of Dean and Tim Lemman, Adam Garside and Josh Little.
