Grander Weight Angler Location Date Blue Marlin 1065.5 Mike Nesbitt & Drew Bradley Miloli'i, Big Island 08/12/03 Mike Nesbitt and Drew Bradley were fishing on Drew's 22-foot Force, the SASHIMI KAI, and were on their way home from an overnight trip when they hooked their monster marlin between Miloli'i and Pebble Beach. The battle raged for three hours before they were able to secure the grander to the side of the boat and head for Honokohau Harbor in Kona. The fish was caught on a purple Softhead lure.
