It is easy to say this is the biggest fish that I ever caught. I used fresh tako for bait, and fought it for 45 minutes thinking it was a shark the whole time!
I took it to New Maui Fishing Supply to weigh it in that morning: 103 lb 3 oz! Mahalo to Fito Vargas for the assist at the store.
I used a 13' PENN Carnage rod PENN 4/0 reel and 80-lb Trilene Big Game line.
I still can't believe that I caught a 100+ poundah!
