Kamrin Kam, Peyton Haleamau and Capt. Kenneth Kam Jr. boated their state record 89-lb walu (oilfish) during the Kona Iki Trollers' Keiki Tournament on August 21, 2010. They hooked the fish outside Kona in 100 fathoms of water using a small tuna for bait and winched it up using a 130-class Penn International reel.
